Recent Work

Abbey National Mortgages Plc v Key Surveyors Nationwide Ltd

We acted for the claimant in the Court of Appeal, a case which set authority on the nature of expert evidence for the successful claimant.

Lender Client

We settled group claims in excess of £500,000 against a national firm of surveyors.

Missold Financial Products

We’re pursuing a claim against a couple’s former independent financial advisor (IFA) for misselling a number of financial products to them in 2008. Our clients allege that as a result of the IFA’s poor advice they’ve lost nearly a million pounds.

Negligent Pensions Advice

We’re acting for a client who wishes to sue his former financial adviser for advising him to transfer his pension fund. Unfortunately, the new pension fund wasn’t suitable for him and, had he kept his fund in his previous pension, it would have increased in value by around 20%. His new pension fund has decreased by approximately 10%.
