Irwin Mitchell recently helped support the first annual medical law moot at The University of Leicester. Over twenty university teams took part from all over the country. After a hard day of judging from Simeon Maskrey QC, Ian Croxford QC, Henry Witcomb, Tracey Elliot and our own Tim Deeming and Neil Whiteley, Cambridge were declared the overall winners with Leicester coming second.
Tim Deeming said: "Irwin Mitchell are committed to nurturing and developing legal talent and supporting the local community, and we are delighted to support and sponsor the annual medical law moot and work alongside Leicester University to host this exciting opportunity."
"Helping and judging the students debate and seeing what legal talent is out there nationally is a real privilege and we hope that the experience will inspire them to continue working hard."
