Work Injury Compensation After Man Trapped under Rolling Machine

Defective machinery caused work injury

At the time of his work injury, our client was loading a ride on roller machine onto the back of a flatbed truck driving up metal ramps. As he did so the machine slid, fell into the gap between the 2 ramps on to its side and trapped his right leg. The truck's winch was not working.

He sustained a fracture to right leg requiring fixation with an external frame.

Liability split was agreed in client’s favour and settlement negotiated. The case settled for £14,000 in injury compensation.
