We successfully pursued a sports injury claim for a client who was injured whilst playing in an amateur league football match.

During the course of the game, our client having been in possession of the ball passed it to another player on his team. A player from the opposing team came in from the side with what was alleged to be a late and dangerous tackle, that caused our client to sustain factures to his right tibia and fibula, which required surgery and internal fixation.

A sports injury claim was pursued via proceedings against the opposition player and although liability was denied throughout, the claim subsequently settled through negotiation and our client received £13,375 in compensation.
