Compensation for Neck Injury following Road Traffic Accident
Road traffic accident compensation case
A Sheffield man has received nearly £3000 in compensation after suffering neck injury in a road traffic accident.
Mr X was driving his work van when a third party collided with the rear of his vehicle, shunting him into the lorry in front and causing soft tissue injuries to his neck.
The accident took place on the M25 in September 2006.
His claim was settled by Nicola Meese of Irwin Mitchell’s specialist Road Traffic Accident Team, based in Sheffield.
She said “Drivers must ensure that they pay attention to the road in front of them that they leave the proper stopping distance between them and the car in front.
If the third party here had done this, then Mr X’s accident would have been avoided.”
