Motorcycle Accident Compensation Case


£6000 in motorcycle accident compensation

Mr P suffered injuries when an unidentified truck driver collided with his motorcycle in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.

The accident occurred when the unidentified driver did a u-turn and followed Mr P. He then drove into the rear of Mr P’s motorcycle sending him across the road and the driver responsible then fled the scene. The driver of the truck was never traced and a compensation claim had to be intimated to the Motor Insurers’ Bureau under their Untraced Driver’s Agreement.

Injured when hit by an untraced driver resulting in soft tissue injuries to his left elbow and lower back. He had to undergo physiotherapy treatment over 2 years post accident to assist him, following which a full recovery was made.

A compensation claim was brought against the Motor Insurers Bureau under the Untraced Driver’s Agreement. Medical evidence recommended physiotherapy treated which was funded by the MIB and following this, an offer of settlement was made.

Our client received £6,000 in motorcycle accident compensation.
