Compensation for Factory Worker After Industrial Accident
Industrial accident compensation case
A woman has received nearly £4000 in compensation after being injured in an industrial accident.
Ms X was working in a factory lifting and manoeuvring an awkward object with one arm whist operating a lever with the other arm. As she was doing this, Ms X strained her right shoulder causing a bone in her shoulder to pop out of place.
The case was settled by David Carder of Irwin Mitchell’s specialist Industrial Accident Team after liability was admitted. The compensation award took degenerative changes in Ms X’s shoulder into account, which a medical expert said would have led to have a similar problem within about 6 months.
