Passenger Compensation for Head-on Road Collision
Passenger injury - road collision case
Mr H from Bradford was a rear seat passenger in a vehicle which lost control, crossed onto the wrong side of the carriageway and collided head on with another vehicle. As a result he sustained significant injuries including soft tissue injuries to his neck and back, an injury to the left lobe of his liver, right kidney and right lung. Due to the damage to the right kidney, this had to be removed 5 months after the accident.
A compensation claim was pursued against the driver’s insurers. In view of the complexity of the injuries and the amount of medical evidence required court proceedings were issued but an offer of settlement was made very shortly thereafter.
Our client received £42,000 in compensation.
