Irwin Mitchell Celebrates Top North Legal 500 Ranking

The Legal 500 has given the north east office of law firm Irwin Mitchell top ranking in the north for its personal injury and clinical negligence work.

Irwin Mitchell is the only firm in the region to achieve a top tier ranking in both categories in the Legal 500, an independent annual publication that surveys all UK law firms.

The news comes as Irwin Mitchell's north east office, based on Grey Street, celebrates its fifth anniversary in the region this year.

For personal injury, Irwin Mitchell was singled out as a "cutting-edge practice" that has a "commanding reputation" in brain/spinal cord injury cases and asbestos-related disease claims.

In the clinical negligence category, Irwin Mitchell's eight-lawyer team, which deals with complex, high-value work often involving birth trauma cases, was praised as "first-class."

Irwin Mitchell's regional managing partner, John Davis, said he was delighted with the ranking.

"This is excellent news for the firm as a whole and is testament to the incredibly hard work and dedication of our staff at all levels of the business," he added.
