Andrew is the head of the Irwin Mitchell Armed Forces Injury Claims team and has been a partner at Irwin Mitchell since 1988. He deals with Armed Forces claims of the utmost severity resulting from injuries to the spine or brain and clinical negligence claims.
Andrew specialises in major accidents including aviation (Civilian and Military), shipping and other transport accidents. He has a substantial amount of experience of litigation in the US and Europe and is currently providing legal advice to all 14 Families in relation to the Inquest into the RAF Nimrod Air crash that happened in Afghanistan in 2006.
Andrew also represents ex-members of the Special Forces who have been injured at work while employed by private security companies. This includes road traffic accidents in Operational Theatres, alleged vehicle and equipment failure, weapons and explosives and the alleged inadequate provision of personal protection equipment.
