About Armed Forces Legal Claims
The MoD is probably the largest single employer in the UK. Like any other employer, it is ultimately responsible for the health and safety of those engaged in its service while they are at work, both at home and abroad. Anyone suffering illness or injury caused by negligence whilst working for them can make a claim against the MoD, whether they're currently serving or not.
As a member of the Army, Navy or RAF, you are entitled to the same protection from injury and illness as any other person could expect from their employer. Civilians who are injured or ill as a result of MoD activity can also take legal action against the MoD with the help of our specialist Armed Forces claims team.
Whether you are injured on or off duty, if you have been injured and it was not your fault it is always worth seeking specialist legal advice. Our Armed Forces team have successfully represented injured service personnel involved in accidents as a result of road traffic accidents, parachuting, fast-roping, aviation , weapons, fires/explosives, vehicles, equipment failures, training exercises, mountaineering, sports and adventure training.
