Neurotrauma Litigation - Medics, the Law and Evidence
Friday 18 April 2008
Following the successful training day held in August 2007, "An Introduction to Neurotrauma Litigation: The Medic's Role", this follow up training day "Neurotrauma Litigation - Medics, the Law and Evidence" is to be held at the Birmingham offices of Irwin Mitchell on Friday 18 April 2008.
The main focus of the day will be to take a more in-depth look at medico-legal issues in neurotrauma litigation, including the role of the expert witness at the joint meeting stage and in giving oral evidence at trial. In addition, Ruth Wright will be providing an update as to the impact of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 since it came into force on 1 October 2007.
There is no charge to attend the training day and the Royal College of Physicians have been asked to approve CPD points for those attending.
