This one day training course is aimed at people who don’t work within mental health services but are contacted by service users and carers for advice and support. Subjects covered will include details of organisations who can provide support for users and carers, the structure of NHS services and consideration of patients rights under mental health legislation. There will be opportunity to discuss case studies and work through real issues you may find challenging.
