We acted for a client in a claim for false imprisonment against Kent Police.
He was arrested on 11 Feb 09 from his home address on the basis of a warrant being issued for his arrest.
He was kept in custody for approx 18 hours when it then became apparent the police had arrested the wrong man.
An out of court settlement of £3,200 plus costs was agreed as a result of this wrongful arrest.
