Our client had a new bathroom suite installed and unfortunately the fitters failed to use floor tiles on the floor and instead used wall tiles. As a result, our client slipped on the floor when leaving the bathroom.
Initially she was suspected to have fractured her elbow, however, this was never confirmed and our client was treated as having as a soft tissue injury.
As a result of her injury, our client had to take time off work.
The other party admitted liability and our client was awarded £3,500 in compensation.
