A woman has received £15,000 compensation following a slipping accident at work.

Ms X worked as a cleaner at a school. She was walking between buildings along a pathway which had not been gritted despite several days of snow and severe weather conditions, and slipped on black ice.

As a consequence of the accident the Claimant sustained a right collar fracture requiring an operation.  She remained off work for a period of 3 months.

Ms X is now making a full recovery and continuing with her day to day activities and has returned to work.
