Our experienced personal injury team helped a man to claim compensation after he slipped due to icy footpaths and car parks around his workplace not being gritted.

The man had parked his car in the car park and was walking along a footpath when he slipped on the ice. He fell and fractured his wrist.

The man contacted personal injury experts in our Sheffield office for help. The team has years of experience of helping people to claim after slips on untreated ice and was able to help the man to claim £2,300 compensation.

Kay Bailey worked on this case on behalf of our Public Liability team and spoke out about the dangers of untreated ice: “Every winter we are contacted by people who have fallen on untreated ice around workplaces and public buildings. I would urge companies to consider their procedures in order to prevent similar incidents.”
