Our client was jogging on the right hand side of a road when a car drove at excessive speed and lost control of his vehicle causing it to flip over and collide with our client.

She sustained serious injuries including fractures to the left thigh bone, pelvis and base of the spine, multiple fractured vertebrae, fractured ribs, muscular and nerve damage, a collapsed lung and extensive blood loss causing trauma to the internal organs.

Our client remained in hospital for several weeks and required numerous operations. Funding for treatment was made available by the other party’s insurers in the early stages of her claim which assisted with rehabilitation treatment at an early stage.

As a result of the injuries sustained and losses and expenses, our client received £150,000 in compensation.
