Compensation Claim In Scotland

The Scotland based Road Traffic Team of Irwin Mitchell acted in a personal injury claim on behalf of Mr Harold Lunney who was involved in a serious road accident. The incident happened on the A75 near Dumfries. Mr Lunney was driving his motorcycle when another vehicle coming in the opposite direction crashed into him.

Mr Lunney was badly injured in the accident and suffered post traumatic stress disorder, injuries to his chest, a broken leg, a fractured toe and one of the toes on his right foot required amputation.

Although the other driver’s insurance company accepted fault for the accident the personal injury team at Irwin Mitchell had to begin court proceedings. The case settled out of court at £80,000 for all losses suffered.

Mr Lunney said “I have received fantastic service from Irwin Mitchell. I am very happy with Irwin Mitchell and the outcome of my case.”
