Established in 1912 by Walter Irwin Mitchell, we initially focused on criminal law, but over the years we have grown to become one of the top 10 UK legal firms and now provide a full range of legal services to private individuals, businesses and other institutions.
We have represented clients in high profile cases, such as Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease and the Hatfield rail disaster. And we continue to challenge legislation with landmark cases, including the breast cancer drug Herceptin.
